Amber necklace

Hi ;) last week I changed my older amber piece- that is the only work I have done in amber, of course the pieces are small they  are glued and sewn to the surface.  Nowadays, if one goes to the Baltic sea coast, yo rarelly will find amber, maybe after the storm if you go hunting while waves are still wild... I have done it long time ago....Remembered my friend is by the sea.... how is she doing in this cold, is the sea stormy?

Here is my "Ambery" necklace- sead beads (including Chinese), amber, polimer clay beads, wooden beads green semi precious stones. The techniques- bead embroidery and raw for the strap. :)
PS and earings not in amber theme totally

A necklace Tenderness- let's go cream ;)

Hi dears ;) All my best wishes who is reading. I haven't sorted my camera yet, but will try to post what I am up to.

I have created a new necklace and earing to go with it ;) Based on this youtube tutorial by Potomac bead company - here and of course there is a lot info on bead crocheting basics .

i have called the nceklace "Tenderness", there is bead crocheted chain- i cannot still master this art the way I would like to...but maybe it is in the future. I have used RAW for the pendant and earings, herrinbone for the bail and brick stich for the tiny flowers ;)

Have a wonderful day and jump into your beads :)

My watch- RAW bead decoration on leather

Hi I have created a sort of watch. Here is a tutorial or explanation  how I did it:

You need:
  • leather
  • beads
  • square beads
  • watch face
  • thread/fishing line/fireline/bead needle/strong needle/thumbler
Make as many rows of right angle weave (RAW) as you need I made 4 by 11; then I decorated with square beads, made a picot fringe:

Then attach to the watch face with the fireline, secure; go through the holes several times.
Take a piece of leather of any colour that you like- sew the sides with a sewing machine or by hand
Sew the watch bracelet carefully onto the leather. Sew some fastening like buttons or anything really. Cover with another piece of suede maybe, glue with jewellery glue or if you don't have could use Moment Cristal.

Here is the final result...
"Along autumn paths"
So the autumn is really in a nice  wonderful phase there is nowadays....

How is your autumn beading going?

Have an awsome week :)
