A set with beaded beads-flowers

Hi! ;) 

It is one of my newer pieces Flower Power. 

I made it very fast ;)  It is a fast one when one masters the beaded bead you just make some of them and join them;)

 On my neck, later I improved the strap ;)

  So it is quite a fun project to try! And similar earings fun right?

Soutache and beadwork bangle

Here is some bead work at last....

I have watched wonderful and easy to follow Jill Wisemans's tutorial Festival Lights Bracelet (here) and I have  made a bangle with twin (like duo) beads, but it was too flimsy so I made another one joined it with soutache piece and saved the day :)

I used grey twin beads, and Chech tiny black with silver lining beads and some sort of svarowskis- it is a great destashing project- I didn't buy anything had everything in my bead boxes (I am going to stop hoarding beads- I hope ;)))

Festival Lights Bangle inspired set :) the earrings are totally random just strung something :)

Hi,  I haven't been writing as much as I would love to, of course. As we are getting into autumn I hope this bloggy of mine will be more productive, keeping my nail polish junkie's fingers crossed  :0) In reality I've been busy with my kids lately, as it's summer holidays for them.... Enough rambbling let's jump into it.

My tote bag nothing original ;( :

Up-cycled gift tote

A prepared smiley applique and my skirt

We needed a gift basket for a friend, so I thought... why not to make it a hand sewn tote, which could be used later for shopping or things like that.

I have had a circle skirt of gorgeous lovely soft wool fabric, I thought if I am not going to wear it so why not to use it for my projects.


So first I cut the paper pattern, I always loose them somewhere. Then I cut 2 pieces of the black material and as strap piece. I sewed the strap and made a smiley shaped applique.

I love appliques: here is my pinterest board for that applique-sewing  if someone is interested.

Pinned and bent the corners and sewed with a small small length stich slooowlyyyyyy

Here is my finished tote, it was a bit slouchy so I used some of these :

 didn't have any new ones or didn't find rather (embarrassed now....)




The final view : just put any gifts in side and to the party!!!

Colour school 3- sepia and black (all the range till white)

Hi, I have come with the homework for the third lesson of our little colour school here organized locally in our BISERIS LT  group, could probably become a member on request (here is the lesson 1 and lesson 2 ).

These are the bead embroidered earings that I have made.

The lesson included that a wonderful combination could be sepia and black (or the range of achromatic colours- from black through grey to white- all the range) . It was interesting to find out that sepia is not only used   in photography but in art too. Some examples of sepia:

The lesson included a wonderful colour combo- which could look stunning and good and luxurious- sepia and achromatic colours (from black to white). It is a good idea to throw in a touch of silver or gold it looks good. So I have tried to throw everything into this soup. The lesson learned - it is quite a wearable combo, to my mind.

Some other beyond wonderful examples of girls (no boys unfortunatelly among us) doing homework and having fun with  jewellery making. :)

Colour school 2: A necklace Barbara

Hi hello- I have come up with a new homework- the task was to complete a piece in one colour preferably black, white or grey. Most pieces were in black - of course it is a potent colour. So here we had to think
about TEXTURE, VALUE and other things:

My pendant  Barbara-I have made the pendant myself, using the molding sylicone form for polymer clay. I tried to use different textures on both sides, as the bottom I used the left friend of a  lost earing. oh super super challange I like it a lot .

Two new pieces

Hi - oh i feel so much better after Christmas, all ,my creative energy is coming back, I don't know what it was- cannot understand. However, it isn't that I don't like Christmas, but this period just makes me numb in terms of jewellery making- it is as it is. Anyways.... two newer pieces (sorry for the poor quality my better camera hasn't been repaired yet. )

A set with polimer clay faces ("The Lady")
I have included toho beads, blue pearls, "swarovski", square beads. It is bead embroidery and herringhbone :)
The second piece is called "The Lady in  black and white" I did a bit of herringbone , then just strung some beads and joined them with the leather string. Of course there is soutache ;)

Happy beading just enjoy little pieces ;)

Black Sultan's Treasure

Hello, it is incredible how the time has been passing, we are heading into late autumn. Now in front of my window, there are bare trees and a shabby apple tree with a couple of red cold apples, droplets of rain are hanging off black branches... Seems so calm. Oh I have a cup of coffe in front of me just now and it is cosy, with children's voices in another room... Oh as for my beading....I do, yes.

I have admired this pattern in Beadwork magazine (pattern by Maria Teresa Moran), it is called Sultan's Treasure. All the bracelets there are so colourful, I have made ablack version. Here is the name Black Sultan's Treasure.

 Now it is for my client, if the bugle beads are not comfortable for her wrist I will sew a black cahmere lining under and fasten the bracelet on to it ;) I like the magnetic clasp, it is more expensive but quick like lightning ;)

Wristlets/Fingerless gloves

Hi. ...Just some pictues to show my felt sewn and bead decorated wristlets o fingeless gloves... I was inspired by this video by Professor Pincushion. If you wish you can make the same and have fun as I did :)

I think I have saved my leather summer lovely flats shoes from the dumpster, I can rock them still, I think- so the lost bows have a new beaded replacement now.

I used the very loved twin or duo beads and black matte sead beads size 11 by Preciosa Ornela  . I mostly use these Chech beads.
