A geometric necklace

Hi
A bit later than I made I will write about my piece, I have called it "Kampuotasis" that means angular so the set is called "Angular". Farfalle beads are used predominantely The necklace is according to a pattern from a book Great Designs for Shaped beads- peanuts and berries

There is a Pinterest board of jewellery where farfalle (berry or peanut) beads are used- here . The free tutorial of another element using farfalle beads is here- at the beading Butterfly .

On the whole the pattern was tricky i have strugled with it for two days, but just because i don't have much patience with patterns, but then decided that I will stick to it, so it was fun in the end.

Happy beading and using different shaped beads ;)

Some new pieces- playing with wire crochet

I made the earings back in May. But I had one blue stone left, so I decided to make  a pendant, as not to be a wasteful person ;) . I have played a bit with wire crochet on the central part, the basis it is a ceramic button, that I bought with the kids we each chose one button. I liked the texture. I  used a brick stich for seed bead detail.

I used: a ceramic button, cut jadeite,  jaspes rondelles, wire, sequins, toho cylinder beads, rivolies, cheap swarovskies, size 15 toho beads. hematite beads, leather.
So here is "The Grass snake eyes".

So the greatest work was on the bracelet and earings "Summer Melody"

The materials are Toho beads, some turqoise stones of different shapes. Colours- white-turqoise-orange/
The pattern for the leaves is  the same as the earings here....you-and-me .

Happy beading but still enoying summer days,..they are so short.

Some of my new beaded works- the rivoli beaded around in peyote. Some blue stones added, quite wearable due to more colours, than one.... :) I like those earings a lot. ;)

Herringbone necklace

I have just started to do something with  herringbone stich, actually I know it quite a bit... In my inventory there is a bracelet, a rope and that is it. Yet this rope is very easy to make consists just of two beads, can be joined with any detail or stone- very light, quick and easy to make, can be in any colour. I liked it....
I have called it (Red shades of grey) :D

A bead embroidery set "Winter Dream"

I have taken part in a small competition- it had a name "A wonderful piece of jewellery for the fraction of the price".

I didn't get the prize but came 12th- that's quite good for me as I have never taken part in any such competitions. My piece is really cheap- the price of materials- is just about 1.5 dollars- as the stones were the gift, somethings were bought in bulk, soutache part and a bit toho beads cost here a bit... So really cheapy cheap.. just hard work. :)
A necklace and earings which I called "A Wnter Dream"
Soutache necklace- Aufritte (Lithuania)

Here are the prize winners- just gorgeous.
Frivolite brooch- by Saromania (Lithuania)

Necklace Flower

Hi

I have completed my necklace! It has taken me less than one week, I have taken it slowly and enjoyed the process, in the evenings mostly (late late) The colour purple rocks me here :) I have called it "Flower"as I haven't got a better idea of the name, though for me the piece is so lovely.

I have used a huge agate  Originaly I thought it was an amethyst :D  I like the stone. And the flower.

I have tried a chain (I have seen it here theglassbutterflyetc ) - it goes faster when one gets used to it, at first some small diamonds might be not straight. The flower is attached to the rope, can be taken off.

 Happy beading!

PS got into dolls and polymer clay - can't wait to use something in bead embroidery.
